#2They normally have a P in front of the fault codes.
Sure it was that code?

#3yeah, thats the code 5120. i was there when he done it. the guy is a local autospark who is a friend of mine. Am baffled, cant seem to find the code on-line. Ive cleaned all the sensors some where a bit dirty but not bad.
thanks for take'n the time to reply.
ps he did try to reset the code but it just came back again. -
#4i phoned him up there again and he said his machine will read the p-codes but it didnt show up as a p code.
-
#5Will he not be able to tell you which sensor the code means?
-
#6cudnt tell me anything. just the code. last time my abs light came on 2 years ago he was able to tell me the exact one that was wrecked. this time its this stupid fault code.
-
#7Ouch.
Don't know what to suggest for the best then mate.. -
#8thanks anyway man. ive a feeling its going to be "one of them jobs"
-
#9I always hear horror story's about abs sensor's fucking up.. costing £70 each..
Meh, i'd take the lot off.
-
#10i dont mind paying money to get something fixed rite. its this old story of replacing parts until the problem goes away that gets me. i thought the whole idea of having the ability to plug it in was to make fault finding easy lol altho having said that id quite happily rip it out ta fuck. lol

#11Right i`ve looked in my fault code book at generic codes & citroen codes & you`re code doesn`t exist.
-
#12thanks for looking, am thinking of taking it elsewhere to put it on a diff machine to see what that says. was on the phone to citroen and pug and they are saying the same as yourself. has my head turned!!
