Leaking Water..

   Hi my 2001 Forte has started to leak water from the radiator, she has always been stroppy sat in traffic in the heat and the fan cuts in but I switch on the heater or I start to move and the fan goes off, now I have noticed water leaking when I park. I lifted the bonnet and it looks like it is coming from the bottom of the radiator tube thing, is this possible? it is not leaking from anywhere else... is this the start of something major?

   A new radiator won`t cost much to buy & install,cheaper than a fried engine.

   Radiators are 20quid from your scrappy, can get some nice conditions aswell. Just make sure it's your local one, as obviously some 2nd hand rads will leak. Stay clear of radwell.
   I went through 3 radiators in the space of 3 hours, buying, fitting, checking, un-installing, replacing, repeat.
   Easy enough.

   Radiators are about £30 new from a shop or ebay....
