temp guage?

does any1 elses vtr temp guage ocassionally rise and fall, on the motorway for example? as mine does. sometimes its fine, stays just below half. other times it will rise to half way, or just above thn go bk dwn to half. im confused

Doesnt sound anything wrong there.

Engine temp does fluctuate depending on the weather, how your driving, what speed your driving....

If it goes to the top of the gauge or stays on cold, then you need to get it looked at

thanks m8, if i was to put a better (bigger) rad in, would tht stop it. iv never owned a car where this has happend before

No point mate,if you`re concerned then change the temperature gauge sensor on the thermostat housing.

If steam isn't seeping out the front of your car, i wouldn't worry. ^^ but like above, it's driving dependant.

its normal.
my vtr does it, fan kicks in when it goes a touch over half way, then back down to half.
nothing will change it
