Important! : car wont start, starter not clicking!!

   Right am by the car atm, car started no problem when i left the house. Now it wont even turn over, no noise from the starter just one click when i turn the key. Battery is fine, rocked the car a couple of times but still the same! Any ideas? I just need to get it home lol

   check cables on back of starter, earth cables, battery cables, try tapping it with a block of wood or hammer

   mine did this, have you tried bumping/jumping the car, if that doesnt work try the kill switch .

   isnt your car a 16v conversion? maybe ecu has locked itself

   Yeah cheers danny just smacked it a few times with the hammeer and gave it another rock and it got me home, just tried restarting it and the starter just sounded like it whizzed round making no contact with anything....new starter i reckon!

   defo new starter needed at least its nothing more serious/annoying

   Sam yeah it is but immobilisers unplugged and the bit is out of the ecu that locks it
