VTR Brakes

   Hi guys,
   
   I have just bought a mint 03 VTR (Totally untouched as owned by a semi dissabled guy) with 54k on the clock but one thing which is really bothering me is the brakes are proper spungy and you have to really apply pressure to stop the bloody thing.
   
   Is this something that VTRs were known for or does it sound like i need either new pads/discs or both. I mean i want to upgrade the brakes anyway so if this is te case i might as well do it.
   
   also how easy have people found getting the discs off?

   sounds like the brakes need bled mate. cheaper to try that first than changing your discs

   Yer i pointed it out to the garage before i bought it and asked them to do that and although they are better than when i took it for a test drive they said the did that. maybe i will try myself.
