    Whats better??

Ive seen all 3 styles used on different saxo's

    Is twin fan better.

Also having a switch to have fan on manual as well as auto, simple enough to do??

    Cheers

Twin fans are more for the looks than anything else.

Single fan does it's job perfectly on n/a engines, as long as there is no water system problems..

Slim fan is normally used on boosted cars where space is tight.

What do you want extra cooling power for?

Although my car runs fine and has no issues, in hot weather ive noticed the temp sits just over the half way mark 99% of the time its on, at 70mph it sits on the line exactly. Fan kicks in a lot.

Cooler days it runs just under the half way line.

Just think it could do with being cooler in hotter weather really

ive notice this on mine, could do with an extra fan to cool in hot days

If you get a different fan, it would still kick in at the same time.. might cool the car slightly faster, but would still be the same.

I'd flush the cooling system, bleed it thoroughly.. if that failed a larger core rad would keep the running temps down / stop the fan kicking in as much.

Just to compare, my 16v takes awhile to get upto running temps, then stays at just over a quarter. Only ever goe's over half if i'm in traffic for 15-20 mins.. never goes over half on the move though even if pushing it. VTR rad / single fan.

I should of said on cooler day motorway its 1/4, half round town.

My old Nova was the same, so i fitted a switch that i could manually turn on the fan, that what i think ill do, was wondering if using a twin fan on manual switch in traffic will cool it quicker (i think so) so its not on its limit all the time

yes would cool it slightly faster than 1 fan, but won't change how quick the engine temp goe's back up

Yeah of course you can wire a switch in
