TV/ LCD Screen in sun visor

  1. #1
This idea came from a girl.

But is is possible to put a LCD screen in the passenger sun visor and maybe plug a XBox into it?

If it is possible, how do I wire the cables so their invisible and would i need to make the sun visor a bit thicker to cope for the thickness of the small LCD screen?

Or another alternative would be to plug the XBox into the back of the car stereo pop out screen. Is this even possible?

been done quite a few times. bout a year ago there was a set of tvs for the saxo sun visor up on ebay went for £4.67 + postage and were relisted bout 4 times, very outta date. and lets be fair the size of the screen you can fit in a visor is it really worth all the hassle n fuss to fit it, wont be able to see shit

I had these as standard in my escort (P Reg), when I say standard... it was that way when I bought it.

    I didn't come across this .

The sun visor is pretty big and for the size of the Saxo, you can sit quite close to it. I was thinking of the idea when we have out McDonalds we can play xBox at the same time.

if any one got any pics of some in a saxo that would be handy.. are if any one know any ones progress thread they got them in i will have a look through..

You can only do it on the drivers sun visor and only works when the car is doing 60mph+ with the sun visor down.

Why would the passenger be watching the sun visor on the drivers side when its down and you have to drive 60mph+ I think you missed the point again.

Just get them in the back of your head rest. Million pound idea there. Never EVER been done before.

Then maybe when you're slurping on a strawberry milkshake you can watch tom and jerry while fingering a girl in Maccas.

    O RLY?

It's a fairly easy setup (if you're not a numpty), and I like the idea but I wouldn't go for a visor setup, the hinges aren't designed to take the weight.

Go for either a glove box compartment setup, or replace the radio etc with a screen. Either way, you're sacrificing something - is it worth it to you?
