4-2-1 mani knocking on gearbox

   as above just had it fitted a supersprint 421 and a supersprint center pipe and the mani flange braket is knocking on the gearbox so as anyboby ells had this problem and how do u get around it from knocking please

   Bracket should be bolted to the gearbox to prevent it knocking?

   mines a mk2 02 vtr and the mani came off a lad off here which he had a mk2 03 vtr

   Listen, there the same it Doesnt matter... Should be bolted to the gearbox with an m10 bolt thats an 8mm allen key head...

   i think i know by that. the standerd manifold as a bracket on it to bolt it to the gearbox but the supersprint manifold din't it just came with too bolts to to bolt it to the middle center

   number 14 and a cannot see any bracket on it for it to be bolted to gearbox
   please help as im going to have another go today

   just been looking at some more of supersprints mani and they dont seem to have any brackets on to bolt to gearbox HELP

   to be fair all the mani's i;ve had that have had the brackets and that i have actually bolted them to gearbox they have ended up snapping of anyway so leave it off wont do any harm.
   so just turn the mani flange off the gearbox?

   i know the flange on mani can turn around but i don't thick it does on the center pipe

    and wheres the problem, once its turned on the mani and u get the right place for centre pipe it wont hit anything.

    Iwas going to say my supersprint never came with a bracket, wasnt needed. WD40 and a hammer and the joins will turn around and = no more knocking on the box
