Lower cooling pipe

   I am new on here. I have had my saxo nearly 3 years. its just a 1.1 with a k&n air filter. the lower cooling pipe has just gone again for the 2nd time. i dont know it has rubbed or anything. am thinking of putting a silicone pipe on can any 1 help?

   Before fitting another one you need to find out why the other 2 have failed.

   i know when my lower pipe from the rad went it was the clip had became lose and it hit the alternator belt and wore through, guy in the garage said its a common problem with saxos.

   On closer inspection the pipe has rubbed against the timing belt / pully

   The pipe hasnt been put on right if its rubbing against the pully mate

   its been on over a year. the clip must have gone recently. was thinking of silicone pipes anyway

   that just happened to me on week end it rubbed on the alternator belt
   even with silicone hose if it hits one off the belts it do the same
