Oil level and temp sensor!

   My oil temp gauge goes up when i turn my ignition on but doesn't go up as the engine warms up, but on my little screen it tells me i have no oil in and flashes at me, there is a full sump of oil and i was wondering is this my level sensor or temp sensor for my oil or is it the same sensor? thanks

   vts has a sensor on the the sump for oil temp
   
   the one on the block will be the one for level
