My saxo is wierd

   Anyway me and tarzan off the site had a real good look at it before we bought it and noticed it had a 1plug loom, radiator. plus my mate said the plug that conncts behind the light to the rest off the loom is the other way about???
   
   Car hasnt had an engine plus hast had a knock as the legs are everything is straight and alomost mint for the year. Car never been modified in anyway.
   
   Mate thinks it could be a mk1 shell that was left lyen about lol.
   
   Car is 2002. Anyone got any ideas why its got mk1 stuff on it? and its a furio

   I was going to say it was made on the changeover year when they put single plug engines in a mk2 fronted car.I`m not sure when the changeover was though but that would explain it.

   Yea we were thinking that are sealves. its got the cat under the car aswell if that helps.
   
   My mates 01 furio English reg has a 3plug loom tho.

   Plus it has a mk1 power steering pump lol

   Could have been a friday afternoon job then,o`h we`ve got a few mk1 engines lying about ok we`ll use em up in these shells.Thats defo a mk1 running gear you`ve got though mate.

   Lmao i knew you were going to say that haha but have to agree i think its a mk1 shell and they have just threw everything they could find on it.
   
   
   Can i get a mk2 vtr engine 3plug loom and ecu and throw the engine in still? would be plug and play as everything inside the car is mk2?

   You can but i`m not sure if you`d have to do any cutting of wires though.

    my saxo is a 2000(change over year) vts with a single plug ecu. sometimes tricky to get parts for as the factors always try give me parts for the newer 3 plug type.

    Awww now thats going to be a pain in the ass explaining to my motorfactors whats going on haha. Mines got the cat in the middle section so im taken that out and getting a straight pipe with no cat
