How to remove the grille???

   How do I remove the grille on my Mk1? I want to remove it so I can sprey the chevrons black.
   
   Can I just remove the chevrons as that would be a HELL of a lot easier and if so how?

   pretty sure the chevrons come off

   on the mk2's thers few clips on the back of the chevrons to poke out and the chevrons drop off, i ended up unscrewing the grill to undo the clips though. dunno how similar it will b for a mk1?

   just mask them off on the front, thats what i done saves alot of hastle and still looks very good.
   
   but if you want to remove the front grille,you have to remove the two white clips either end of it.You can get at these by poping out the indictor lenses then you will be able to see them.Undo all the bolts from the top aswel then it should pull out.

   Sound's thick but where are the indicators lens, clips???
