How to undo t40 bolt for drivers torsion bar? Plymouth Lowering?

As title says, theres a t40 just inside the nearside axle which my socket will not fit, similar situation on the other side. How do people get these out? Eventually managed to get both washers out and replace those bolts with normal m8 bolts but really struggling on the other 2 ends.

Either that or anyone in plymouth fancy earning some dolla?

    Cheers

Use a L shaped torx key? Dunno never really had a problem undoing them. Do passenger side first then the passenger trailing arm drops down giving you good access.

Thanks guys, all done finally. I couldnt get the torsion bar out on either side so drove to get some more wd 40 with no shocks attached, got back and both knocked out easily... Could be a good tip lol, although the ride was awful!

Lowered 50mm all round now and it's brilliant, might upgrade shocks later as the rides still a little hairy round bends, or I should really slow down a little...

    Cheers!
