Clutch bore

   I went to my local motor factors today to order a clutch and he said there are 2 for the vtr he sells
   
   He needs to know what 'Bore' mine is.
   
   They are both 200mm but Bore is different?????????
   
   Does this make any sense to anyone

   There is a early type mk1 and a later type mk2 - I would of thought he could of pointed you to right one given your reg number?

   Tried the reg number as well haha, it was his trainee as the owner was with a customer, just wanna make sure i get correct one.

   I thought the clutches were the same, the flywheel was the different on mk1 and mk2's?

   This. Input shaft spline size is the same. Only difference of note is bolt pattern spacing - equal on late flywheels all the way round, three groups of two (kinda) on earlier flywheels. the clutch plate itself should be the same from one 200mm to the next 200mm one, just the cover that's different.
   
   Reg number should clear it up. If he can't get it from the reg, go somewhere where then can or order on line

   This is the only one that came up with reg No.
   
   Just the other guy confused me with bore size.
