Sensor on downpipe

Right tried changing my downpipe the other day, and me nor my mates could get the sensor out for shit.. Anyone any ideas/tip on how we can get this out? or is it best to just buy a new one?

I soaked mine in wd40 for a few hours (kept spraying it) put the downpipe in a vice and swung off it with the correct sized ring spanner

You could also try heating the downpipe up which will expand the metal, hopefully enough to loosen it off. becareful you down damage the sensor though.

Unplug the sensor, wire brush around where it attaches then soak in wd40,it a 22/24mm spanner iirc.
