Important! : struggling!

    Hey guys.

    Ive noticed that when i drive my 1.5d about for about half hour and stop, if i then start it up again it will vibrate alot and will idle below where it should. if i then do it again it will idle even lower and stuggle more... why is this? my glow plugs are rusty so im gna change them and im gna give her a good service when i get paid but my job includes stopping and starting alot so i cant have her break down anytime soon. really need help!?

    Idle contol valve.

    Not 100% sure if they have an icv... Dont think there that advanced...

    When its warm heater plugs shouldnt effect it... Most probably temp sensor for pump or pump and injectors need looking at...

    What reg? What happens when you rev it up? Does it clear?

    Change the fuel filter,as above don`t think they have a icv.

    It's a 1999 1.5d when I rev it still goes back to below where it should be reving. I'll try changing.fuel filter and if that does not work then ill have to take it to a garage or something. So confused lol

    Sorry when I rev it does not go back to where it should be idling it continues to idle to low

    http://autorepair.about.com/od/engin...idle-speed.htm This seems quite good for some basic problems. First I'd probably try running some Reddex for diesels through and see if that helps. Or another additive it's up to you. Could well be a temp sensor though if it only happens when the cars warm.
