Important! : Car Wont Start?

   Hi,
   
   I replaced my starter motor in my car a couple of months ago with a second hand one due to it not starting.
   
   I had jump start it yesterday by pushing it, Because when I turned the key the dash lights come on as normal but just won't start no ticking noise or nothing.
   
   Once start I can turn it off and starts fine.
   
   But when left for a good length of time turn off (Over 6 Hours), I have to push the car to start it.

   Flat battery? Have you tested its output??
   
   The dash lights will work fine with a battery putting out lower power, but the starter motor requires a good wack of power from the battery when starting up.

   Charge the battery up,also double check the starter motor connections.

   I had a brand new battery put in just after the new year a will check starter motor leads.
   
   Just seems funny how when left it won't start.
