35mm suspension kits

    Do Apex still not make a 35mm kit for the VTR/S model?

    I'm down 50mm on Apex at the minute but with the rear axle needing replaced and the suspension feeling past its best, I'll replace both at the same time.

    Not looking to go 50mm again as it gives me nothing but grief with speedbumps and my driveway. I also think it compromises the handling. For me, the 25mm Apex kit doesn't justify the expense for how it sits.

    So what are my options? Ideally I'd like to keep to the same kind of budget as the Apex kit around £200-£250, as I have the axle expense at the same time.

    the 25mm kit is basically the 35 mm kit, it just depends what its on determines how low it goes
    apex only do two kits as far as I know..

    Yeah that's exactly the predicament. The 35mm kit would lower my VTS 25mm, which sits a little high for me. Ideally I want it down 30-35mm, just surprised Apex haven't made a kit that suits after all these years.

    Is there anything else of similar cost and quality?

    yeah its a bit of a bummer, I have the apex kit 25mm. I still haven't fitted it yet as im undecided if its going to be to high. Its currently wound down on cheap nasty coilovers lol.

    The apex kit is rated pretty highly for the money, the only other kits that really get good reviews are the bilsteins, but they aint cheap, for the simple reason they are a good bit of kit, im sure "Spax" use to do a 40mm and a 60mm kit (PSX or something like that). Not sure if they still do though. Maybe worth a look however I don't know what they are like.. I will warn you don't go for cheap coilovers as they are cheap for a reason lol.

    I'm sure the guys on here can throw some suggestions your way on here. alternatively give Kamracing a Pm and I am sure they will suggest a kit that's right for you.

    EDIT: Have a read of this. this is what swayed me going for the apex kit, the amount of good reviews on them.

    Theres a con with most manufacturer spring listings.
    They list the maximum lowering. If its designed to fit all models (like spax) then it will not lower the VTR and VTS by 40mm and 60mm, but around 10mm less.

    30mm suits me better anyway.. with my driveway I wasn't going lower than 35mm, although I thought the Apex kit was better value for money?

    I don't want to pay more, for less. Spax could be the way to go if it gets good enough recommendations.

    As I'm replacing the torsion bar at the sane time, I'll want it to come already set at the ride height of the kit.. I can just imagine buying a 40mm kit, to lower my VTS 30mm and the rear end up way out.
