Raising rear end help

  1. #1
    Ok so I bought this already lowered. as you can see it is pretty damn low and makes for a bit of a bumpy ride. (not sure on how low it is at the front or back!) is it possible to raise the rear a bit with out returning to standard as im unsure where I stand on the whole rear end set ups on these. I have been informed they don't have a normal set up but a torsion bar. Any help would be appreciated

    Yeah, they have a pair of splined bars that adjust the height, theres a guide on here somewhere... Real in.depth one of what it is exactly and how to adjust it as well :-)

    google badgermotorsport lowering or suzuki tuning lowering

    its quite an advanced job if you havent done it before. There are people on here who can do it for you for about £60 however.

    be careful if you tyake it to a garage, as theres a method which adjusts them by notches/clicks which can goose your beam for you

    The notches/ click method will wreck your rear beam eventually costing you £££ to get a refurbished one. I lowered the rear of mine myself took about 3hrs but my bars were seized yours may be easier as your car has been lowered before.

    Guides I used were;

    http://www.badgermotorsport.co.uk/lowering.htm

    http://www.suzukituning.com/PSA/Suspension/Lowering.htm

    And the guide in the premium members section

    If you do it yourself make sure you set aside some time, have plenty of wd40, have a good selection of tools, replace the torsion bar hex nuts to stronger allen key ones and finally re-grease the they torsion bars were they slot in
