power steering hose

Okay guys so o e of the hoses coming off from my power steering pump has like 3 splits in it and I'm having trouble stopping it from leaking. When I manage to hodge one up the other starts leaking and I'm going through tons of power steering fluid. I have a piece of high pressure orange hose that I think will be long enough so I could cut out the sectio. Of hose with all the leaks and just jubilee clip on this high pressure orange hose in its place. Can I do this? The only thing I'm worried about is inside the power steering hose is like aplastic hose inside ... Can I just cut streigh through this? Just want to stp all the leaks but have no money what so ever to get a new hose fitted.

    Cheers in Advance guys

Your better off replacing the whole hose/s,you`ll be back to square one if you try jubilee clipping them.

well ive herd of the aa coming out just cutting the shit section out and shoving abit of copper pipe inbetween then using jubilee clips to hold it all .. and a mechanic mate of mine said it should be okay but just dont have the money for a new hose yet so continuing to carry out bodge jobs is the best i can do atm! Thought you guys would know best though so its worth asking

Your best bet is go to a scrappy find a couple of complete lengths of the pipe.Check carefully for splits & fit them yourself.
