    Hey,

Right the saxo started idling wrong, so changed the fuel pump sorted the issue for a few weeks...

Started idling funny again and i gave up left it on drive for a few weeks.. tried a friends coil pack and wouldn't turn over, tried a battery charger for a few hours and now the fuel pump wont prime... sounds like its trying to prime for about 10 seconds then just nothing.

Its driving me mad any ideas?

yeah the conversion was done properly but was the ecu unlocked properly with the pin removed? sounds like a faulty ecu to me mate they act up for a bit like irratic idling then just give up eventually. do you have a mate with a unlocked 16v ecu

Could be anything, map sensor, icv, temp sensor, crank position sensor....on and on. Hence why i say what kind of idle issue did you have? Crank position could cause start probs, have you checked inertia switch? Sounds silly but easily missed

Ecu was done by ryan is it? so its been properly done.

The misfiring started when i was doing 60 on motorway and within a mile of that ( off the mway ) i couldn't even keep it alive without it stalling under 3k revs.

Started it once on my drive since and it literally dies second you touch throttle....

inertia switch cant be done I've had it removed.

    Time for some pics....

Side view of block and gearbox earth, this is so tight i cant even get it off....

Took the ecu tray off and this is the relay under.....

One of the pins appears to be corroded ? take it this isnt normal where do i get a replacement / part no?

I've got 2 spare.. All working - got them in a quest to sort idling issue out.. Turned out to be something else.
