horn HELP

    help me i need to wire a new a new horn in, we wired 4 wires for the switch two for the horn and two for the battery, but when u connect it shorts the switch out, and burns out.

    how would i go about wireing a new one in

    Why so many wires all you need is a live from the horn button on the stalk and the negative wire to earth or to the bolt you use to attach the horn.

    Think it should be only 1 live for the battery wire. 1 earth and the 2 from the old horn wier to the new one. if that makes sence

    Out of curiousity whats wrong with the original horn set-up?

    the orignal was cut out before i bought the car dunno why lol
    and i have a steering wheel with no horn so doin it to the dash but i dunna what i need to do

    You will need some long wires 2 different colour. Crimp sets. And a switch for the horn. If its Not possible to use the original wires from the old.horn? Save abit of time of you could
