Decat 1.1

   I've got a Mk2 1.1, i wanna decat it but the exhaust is like straight through, so im guessing the cat is in the manifold?? would i need to purchase a 1.1 mani from the mk1's? for it to decat.

   You'd look/sound hilarious and get no performance benefit from it

   im aware that it wouldnt give me no real benifit from it, its just as if i wanted to, would i need a mk1 manifold to decat it.

   all i've got is the down pipe then the rest of the exhaust is like one full part too the backbox...If it was under floor cat wouldnt there be a section of the exhaust i could unbolt and remove???

   a mk1 manifold and down pipe will fit straight on with no mods. but as said there is no real diference in performance

    exhaust gasses will exit far to quickly and you will loose performance if anything mate as above save your money

    Lol... u wont loose performance just by de cating but on a 1.1 u wont gain any.either..
    If u get the mani cheap enough might aswell do it.. i paid a tenner...
    Just remember tho a de cat 1.1 sounds like a moped... unless u have a loud back box
