    Hi all

    I`ve got a round glued on disc for the sat-nav & its positioned right at the bottom of the winscreen in the centre.The mot centre has just failed it saying its obscurring the drivers vision.Right or wrong because its passed the last 2yrs mot`s like it?

    it should only fail if it obstructs the drivers view... unless you have a midget testing your car, that shouldnt be a problem.

    is it in the swept area of the wipers?

    Marginally ,when the wipers are in the parked position they sit just under the bottom edge of the disc.

    Edit to add, avoid the test centre in future if they're as daft as this. Presume the mount is removable...

    Thanks Ross,the mount itself is the original one supplied by garmin & you peel off a sticker then press the mount on.Its stuck on solid so i`ve asked the garage to remove it because it failed 2 on other small things.The ball joint dust cover has perished & a track rod end needs replacing.This is the last time i`m going to this so called garage.
