106 quicksilver tyres rubbing

    hi i have just put on my 106 14in alloys with 175/65/r14 and they rub on the rear and on full lock on the front i have put spacers on so now they fit but if i change the tyres to 165/65/r14 will it fit the alloy and not make it rub my old steeles had 165/65/r14

    Should have gone for atleast 175/55r14 tyres as 165/65 are std size. So by you going 10mm wider you needed to drop the sidewall % profile to bring the general aspec ratio back to std rolling radius

    Change the profile, get 175/55/14 or 175/45/14 that should work i would think.

    ill will keep them tyre sizes in mind but i can only afford the std size at the moment thanks for the quick reply lads
