OK..1st I thought it was a duff battery. Bought a new one..still the same.
Then I thought it must be the Alternator...Battery charge light on at ignition, no Power Steering but everything Ok with a quick rev to 2000 rpm...light out, power steering back !!
Then I noticed the Heater and the de-mist were off until after I've revved it..at which point they all work fine...
So...What's wrong with my car and will joining the brown wires and taping the red ones in the shroud fix it ( as described in the FAQ section) ??
I think a lot of people have had this but I can't find an explanation for why it goes away if you rev the car, or why it returns when you switch the engine off ?
Someone please advise..my local Citroen Garage want to fit a new set of locks, for more than my car is worth and a lot more than I can afford to pay !!
