So, There i was, driving my sax when the inevitable happened. a loud clunk and the instant knowledge, something isn't quite right.

Driving with my friend and equally petrol head, Rich, he was insistant there was nothing wrong, only to be proved wrong 5 minutes later after some insistance that there was...

    So theres your problem

What've we've done, (after some flicking though the haynes manual) is sheered of the Lambada sensor. Whats the best course of action to getting this fixed?

Find someone who is breaking a saxo & buy the pipe & possibly the cat off them mate.

my mate said either a weld or a new front pipe section, the sensor appears to be sheared off

The exact same thing happened to me 1.1, I have a new section on the way, cost me £60 as the cat is incorporated into the pipe. you'll be looking for something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2510998125...ht_1974wt_1397

Andrew page sell a 1 year cat for £30 but they aint cracking so will need a new one next year. But will do the job perfect for now.

But your mate was right you can just get it welded up if you can find the lambda thread to weld back in lol.
