nearside inner cv boot split and no grease in it, im going to get a cv boot today but unsure how to fit them, worrying about gear box oil and everything

you planning on replacing the whole shaft presumably. There's a guide on here somewhere, saw it the other week.

Your not gonna be able to change the inner yourself, best to change the whole shaft anyway if there was no grease in it at all!

i planned on keeping my drive shaft as it is brand new but obviously with a shitty boot on it

If you have no grease in the boot then the cv joint will have had it.

its all off at my brothers garage now and its recent because the mot was wrong its still full of grease and the ball joint is fine and all the teeth on the shaft are still spot on, its getting repaired now
