my s reg saxo has holed and corroded underneath on chassis by the mount and when you pop bonnent and look at both sides its rotten there help , advice was my first car cheap run arround with 12 months mot and 6 months tax

#2Use the search button and have a look around on here.
It's a really common place for rust, under the ECU and under the fuse box. It's relatively simple to get repaired and most garages will do it for you.
Search and you will find

#9As above a tester isn`t allowed to unbolt or move anything,unless they can visably see rot within 30cm of a load bearing/safety component then a car will pass.My saxo at low speeds has rotational knock & i`ve replaced both wishbones I think the drivers side driveshaft is shot.Quote:not at all, with wheelarch liners in place and the ecu still bolted down you wont see anything.

under bonnet...op says in his thread that all he did was lift bonnet and look at both sides to see that its rotten.
not that im bothered or anything, its not my car lol
