Seeing if its worth me changing steering rack as engines out. A few years ago when swapped to vts engine after putting the engine in the PAS suddenly stopped working although worked fine before. So i changed the relay, nothing. Changed the earth to the battery, nothing. Changed the PAS pump, nothing.
I had a look but the rack seems fine and the gaiters arent damaged. The pump didnt make a noise if was empty, not sure if they do usually. I dont know if once got new engine and new wiring loom may sort it but if rack was the problem but would it leak if it was the problem?
