Accessing dials without removing steering wheel?

   Tried to access my dials earlier and rounded 1 of the torx screws that holds the airbag to the steering wheel.
   
   So was just wondering if there was anyway of bypassing taking the steering wheel off or is this a MUST?

   It's doable on a 106 but fiddily. Don't know if the surround would be so easy on a Saxo but possibly. Tbh no harm in trying and reporting back

   Have tried, couldn't get the indicator stalk etc out of the way enough to access the screws.

   Try taking off the 3 ,13mm bolts under the steering column,then drop the column down.That way you can access the dials.

   I got my dials out fine when I changed them to mk2, really fiddley with the steering wheel there but definitely doable

   You can just about remove the dials by dropping the column down slightly. Its a bit fiddly but take your time and make sure you don't round any more bolt heads off

    Why don't you want to remove the wheel? after asking this question would have been quicker to just undo the three screws and take it off lol
