handbrake

Hi guys bit obvious my handbrake is tigh but when it is left for a bit and i try to reverce it is like it has locked passinger side only than when i have finaly got off the drive the handbrake itself is loose but i can also move tgr cable under the car
But am too tight to go to a garrag

Yes defernatly sounds like your handbrake is on too tight on the passenger side are you not having the issue on rear drivers side, also have u had any work done to your car recent work done to your car or do you reckon it has built up over time??

Well at least your Handbrake works, I'm on my 5th car (4years of driving) and this is my first one with a handbrake! lol.

Does sound like its either too tight on the one side though, or the handbrake is sticking.

Take the wheel off and have a look at how tight the cable is... If its too tight you might be better off replacing the other side as they both adjust at the same rate. (if that makes any sense?)
Never had brake drums though, So i cant really be of any more help on that im afraid.

yer true carn't really suggest much apart from jack the back end up, then turn the wheel clicking the handbrake up 1 knocth each time you do so to compare the tightness of each wheel.

try a bit of brake cleaner once you get the drums off to make sure it isnt just muck sticking
