    my mate is breaking his turbo'd mives colt

    and his offered me the boost setup

    its a td o4 turbo with adjustable actuatour

    was running 0.6 bar standard

    comes with everthing and intercooler and piping fr 250e

    was wondering could i get this to work with a vts..and if so what would i need bar the manifold

    and would i need forged internals?

    You could use parts from but as to how much is a little hard to say. The big issue is fuelling. The more boost you wish to run the harder it gets. But say a predictor ecu, bigger injectors, exhaust manifold, down pipe, oil feed, oil drain, mod to sump to take drain, two thick head gaskets, air filter and a few other odds and sods and your about there. You may wish to get another IC if the one he has does not fit. You coudl even just get away with a remap but with a turbo you will always be after more You only need forged for big boost. If you only plan to run .6 bar stock is fine.

    The td04 is a good turbo but common as muck and cheap as chips, you can buy mine for 80 quid with actuator, so its not a big piece of the puzzle.

    I also have a decent clutch that will take the power for around 120, a four plate cerremetalic.
    You will also need injectors and ecu, doubt his ones will be a straight fit. Can't see you using more than just the turbo tbh

    quick summary, you will need oil cooler, water pipes for turbo, oil feed, boost gauge, mapping, clutch, injectors, fillet for turbo, dump valve, hg, head bolts, head skim, manifold, downpipe, lots more than just a turbo and intercooler! Then you start on other bits like brakes, suspension, tyres, etc!

    i have brembo 407 brakes grooved disks braided lines and pads there and vts rear beam and coilovers so brakes and suspenion are sorted

    i still have to pick wheel and tyres

    i have catch tank oil cooler and all gauges ever need have a dump valve and turbo timer

    i mite have water pipes from on here next week along with engine mounts

    i wasn planning on goin fr a turbo till next year i just taught this mite be a cheap..nd id be leavin it standard 0.6 bar fr now defo to get use to it
