Standard 1.1 air filter

    Went motorworld to get a new air filter but they didn't have one on the shelf. So I went halfords and they gave me one. But compared halfords with standard one and it looks as though it's the same filter but inside out if your with me? Also it wasn't as snug of a fit as the standard one seems like a circle that's been squashes the halfords one was more round...so have they given me the wrong filter?

    possibly. I got an air filter from them and it fitted fine .. just go back in and ask them to double check if its the right one

    Do you have the filter in the correct way up?

    If its not a snug fit, i'd go elsewhere and get one TBH.
    If it doesnt fit properly it wont work properly.
    Dont want to be dragging unnecessary crap into the engine

    well this is the one i got and looks the same as the amazon one. but this one seems fatter and inside out to what my old one is like....

    does it even matter wich way it goes? since its the same shape either way. I usualy have the writing on top.
