1.4 auto convert to manual

Right this might seem a silly question but i've looked around at picture of auto and manual engines and i can't seem to 100% figure it out. Basically i have a 1.4 petrol mk1 engine which i'm putting my eastcoast. I was under the impression it will go straight in but i was wondering will the fly wheel etc be different? Atm its got like a rounded bulge plate thing coming out of the crank atm (will find picture) Is this hows its supposed to be as i've never done this before? Or do i need to remove anything, swap anything over? Sorry if this seems stupid and noobish but i want to be 100% sure before i do anything. Cheers chris

So I just take that off, put my 1.1 flywheel and new clutch and I'm sorted yeah?

nver had any experience with doing it but yea i would assume you are right by bolting on a manual flywheel and clutch

Well thats what the guy who i brought it off said. . but closer it gets to me doing it the mor anxious i was getting. Really didn't want the hassle of taking the old one out, taking the gearbox off, only to find out it wouldn't work. But clutch has been ordered so i guess we'll see.

me and my bro are changing his engine in his auto mondeo and he was told on his forum to take off the manual flywheel (if he buys a manual engine that is) and bolt on his version of the flywheel

When i changed my Fiats Manual engine with a Automatic engine (but kept my manual gearbox) I kept everything on the Automatic engine including fly wheel.
