#2New cat?
-
#3have you had an MOT/service or something to say that you NEED to lower your CO2 emissions levels?? because if not i would leave it as it is as the best and only thing you can really do is whack a new catalyc converter on and that can cost you quite a few quid.

#4Read the op`s heading car failed on emmissions,to the op replace the lambda sensor with a good quality 1 like a bosch(not a cheap ebay 1)
-
#5its had a service apart from oil change and had a new cat 3 months ago
-
#6Is your exhaust standard? It's not blowing is it?
-
#7Do all the above, then before the test take it for a good rag, gets the cat nice and hot should help you out with the emissions
-
#8only thing really is check for leaks on exhaust/cat
-
#9mine failed on emissions too.. just put a new cat on so hoping thats gonna work (find out next week when its retested!)

#10Bottle of injector/engine cleaner might help as well. I've had good results with BG44K injector/fuel system cleaner. It's ridiculously concentrated compared to something like redex or stp cleaner. Dump the can of BG into a full tank and then refill the tank once you get down to 1/2 or 1/3. Gives it a little more time to work.

#11standard exhaust back box is blowing , and has injector cleaner in maybe that hasnt fully flushed threw and out yet and aparently only failed on emissions on certain epm in 2nd gear ?
-
#13i no they dont drive it just what i read on mot fail sheet
-
#14have a good drive before having it tested so it's done on a warm engine.
-
#15If back box is blowing, get it fixed or replaced, that should sort your problems
