Trailing arm...worth doing?

   Saxo VTR rear trailing arm bearing is knackered, and wont pass its coming soon MOT
   Whats the chances that new bearings/bushes will do the job or will the rear axle tube be knackered?
   Car aint worth much so buying a recon rear end for £400 is not worth the value of the car.

   you could get a 2nd hand axel from scrappy or off here or ebay.. for anything from £50-100
   
   just replace it. thats what i would do..

   Chances of new bearings sorting it are slim at best, usually by the time you notice play or camber the pins are too far gone.
   If you don't want to buy a re-con one just get a second hand one, one off a VTR/VTS/GTI will all fit but you're obviously that option isnt risk free.
