#5or a spare input shaft is ideal
-
#6i used an extension bar
-
#8never used one, i always use an extension bar
-
#9i always use a snap on ratchet handle unless its my twin plate then it has to be an old input shaft
-
#10extension for me too
-
#11Extension ftw!
-
#12i to use the extension
-
#13done by eye, or the alignment tool that's in my toolbox that came with an o.e clutch
-
#14I do them by eye if I CBA to look for an alignment tool. Just make sure the centre hole through the friction plate lines up centre with the splines on the pressure plate.

#15I tried a extension bar and a socket but they're not that great abit too much play with the ones ive got so wasn't very precise. Was looking at this one-

#16i just use my finger

#17I just use a screw driver and get it perfect everytime. Not only looking at the input shaft area to make sure its on evenly but also look around the edge of the friction plate to see if its even all around the edge on the outsides of the plates of the pressure plate.
