Temperature gauge sensor query

   Should coolant come out when this is removed? or does it screw into a thread which is separated from the water ways internally. Its not the one for the ECU but the other for the dash gauge, on an early 8v this too.

   there is two..one normally in the stat housing...water should come out if this is removed..provided its not one of the ones that sits in the top of the housing and the probe drops down into the housing
   
   there is another under the stat housings in the head..nothing should come out of this one
   
   the one for the gauge is the stat housing one iirc

   i know on the early 1.1's the stat housing one is the ecu one if that's any help.

   Sensor for the gauge is blue & the coolant temperature sensor is green iirc mate,both 19mm deep socket to get them out.
