My engine management came on and I have got the codes p0420, p0105, p0110. I know what the codes are but any ideas on what the problem could be

#2If you know what the codes are then you should surely know what the problem is?
What are the codes? -
#3Yeah but I think they are all linked, so trying to work out what It could be. The codes are above
-
#4What faults do the codes translate too?

#5Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) p0420
Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Malfunction p0105
Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction p0110 -
#7We replaced the map sensor and then after about 50 miles the light came on. I have had real problems with hesitant acceleration and pin pointing what the problem is
-
#8Well next in line would be o replace the CAT.
-
#9I have no cat lol
-
#10Did/does you saxo have 2 lamda sensors? If so then the 2nd lamda needs to be sleeved.
-
#11Use a new map sensor?
Mine was the same and that sorted it, but also what Steve said could play a part. -
#12I'm not too worried about the cat code, I'm more worried about the other codes and the hesitant acceleration. I had the acceleration problem before I decated my exhaust. Also ive changed the map sensor and it was fine for the first day and then it is back to square one
-
#13The cat or lambda is closely linked to this, the cat and lambda both can send fubar signals to the ecu which could affect acceleration, is it like its late acceleration? As in when you floor it it takes a second or two te respond?Quote:I'm not too worried about the cat code, I'm more worried about the other codes and the hesitant acceleration. #14Yeah but the difference is it doesn't want to accelerate it runs like its running out of fuel and it was happening before I knocked the cat. Do you reckon it could be the lambdas then
