Im just looking at the front bearing as i have access to a press tomorrow, ive removed the full strut but looking at it do i have to press the hub out from the bearing first from the back then push the bearing out from the front?

turn the strut over and you see the hub is defined from the bearing.
use a socket and knock the hub out.
you'll need to grind off the bit of bearing that is left on the hub. taking care not to score the hub it'self.
remove the circlip from the rear of the bearing and press it out from the front iirc. press back in from the rear, and press hub back in. put a socket under the smaller bearing race when doing this or you will just push that off and fuck the bearing.

Managed to grind front wheel bearing off but managed to gauge the hub just over a cm long. Will this matter?, do i need a new hub?
