    Well I got myself a fuel filter but can't find anything in the engine bay that even remotely resembles a fuel filter ... Have no idea

    Under the car, near the fuel tank.

    Seriously get yourself a haynes manual or take it to a garage. If you're not competent a lot can go wrong with a fuel filter.

    if you look at your engine, the filter is located on the right hand side, top corner of engine.
    you may have to remove the airbox to see it.

    EDIT: according to the engines on ebay it is anyway and my haynes manual

    I know what yo do its just finding it. And its a diesel I know its in the engine bay its not where the petrol filters are

    Good luck starting a diesel with air introduced into the system. Thats what the priming bulb is for near the battery though. However i'd recommend the OP take this to a garage

    im one for trying things myself, gotta learn some day. Ive read on the manual i got with the car how to do this using the priming pump so its all fine. im also removing the fuse to the fuel filter the clear it of fuel. jsut wonna know where it is!
