    sunroof seal split
    leaking through aerial base
seal on top of windscreen split
blocked sunroof drains (as the pipes run down A pillars)

Whats the best way to check if the drains are blocked?

Park the car somewhere dry and gently pour water over the sunroof and see if it drains away onto the floor underneath. To fix, roof lining down, pull the off the drains and blow through with an air line

Either blow out the drain with an air line,or gently push a coathanger in the drains.

you sure that all the holes in the actual body of the car for the rubbing strips to clip in to are actually being sealed with the rubbing strips clips?? because if not there may be a possibility of water getting in through these. may be worth a check. just try carefully pulling back the inner door trims and insulation and have a look.

My carpet used to get wet as the plastic plugs in the floor pan pulled a 'houdini' one day.

OP has water behind the A pillars, so i very much doubt that his water problem will be with floor pan plugs

A pillars is either screen or sunroof drains...

Sunroof seal. Both of mine needed silicon sealing.
