iv just tryed to fit an omp lower strut brace only to find when its fitted its only an inch off the ground as my car is too low (50/60mm ish)

anyone else had this problem and is there any way around it??

    apart from raising my front

They are not designed for lowered cars, they are for track.

surely track cars are lowered though? i was thinking about getting one but as mine will be getting used daily the brace will be hitting everything on the road

Yes but most track saxo's/106's arent 60mm or even lower. Also a track hasnt got speed bumps and pot holes etc everywhere like Britain's lovely roads.

OP there isnt really much you can do apart from raise it or remove the brace, or live with it, that's why you see so many second hand ones scuffed/smashed up.

I'm down only down 35mm on the front, and it clonks on things and buries itself in the stones on my drive

my old vts was lowered 60mm all round, had lower brace fitted.
only thing it caught was the stupid speedbumps, oh and parking up on a kerb.
you get used to it lol

how much of a difrence did it make in the bends?

if its a lot i may run it for a week and see how i get on,
my drive will be a problem as the kerb goes up and the drive goes down.

my old corsa's mani/down pipe took a right pounding every time i went out, that was the hight of a house brick layed down off the ground

Raise the rear a bit won't make a massive amount of difference that's what I did after I'd lowered the rear onto the bump stops by accident.

Or just avoid every speed bump etc like the plague, that's all I do now.
