coolant temp sensor

  1. #1
Hey guys. Recently replaced my fuel filter as had a few problems with starting etc. All that's go.e away except for my idling problem that's still there. When it gets warm the revs drop and continue to do so to about 400. I'm guessing now its the coolant temp sensor. Herd its easy and cheap to replace so does anyone know where it is on a 1999 1.5d? And replacing it I just unplug it and plug a new one in right?

    Cheers guys

Yes green is for ecu, which is the one affecting the revs

Coolant temp sensor is easy to replace, just unclip the old 1,then use a 19mm deep socket unscrew then quickly screw in the new 1.Its possible though that you may have a sticking injector.
