    i used the allen key bolts stainless ones instead of the studs from halfords much easier to use than the studs. otherwise citroen or pug will stock them

    Just fitted my manifold today with some stainless internal allen socket head bolts m8x1.25 x20mm. Fuck me it was so much easier with bolts than studs and nuts. also cleans the bay up a lot. Oh and I got them from ebay. Was £1.59 posted.

    Stainless bolts.The bloke is mint too will do anything to help and never let me down.

    I've just got mine from Citroen m8 cost me £14 for 20 studs and nuts picked them up this mornin

    even easier when fitting the janspeed mani that is so tight on some of the bottom nuts def wont be going back to studs took hours to undo them nuts with a spanner

    Citroen quoted me just over a 5 for a set! was around 50 pence a piece but they had to include VAT.

    Please don't use these as they are the exact same as the ones i have posted above but someone is bumping the price up by saying there exhaust manifold bolts. Tut tut stevo!!!!!!

    cant understand how its going to be eaiser without studs same as a wheel this is why people do stud conversions because there so much easier to fit

    you ever tried fitting an aftermarket mani while using stud and nuts?
    top row of nuts are easy to put on, but the ones underneath are near on impossible to put nuts on, plus they rust and look shit.
    when they rust, they're a bugger to get off unless you use an angle grinder (which i had to before i used the stainless bolts)
    plus using the stainless ones makes it look alot nicer and hell of alot easier to fit the mani

    ye have fitted lots off these never had a problem just leave the car running for ten minutes get some heat it the nuts and hey presto do the bottom ones fron underneth with a 13mm spanner job done fair enuogh stainless is always gona look beter totally agree there just recon it would be a bit acward getting first few started and hold gasket on at same time plus manufactures use studs and these pacifically desined nuts for a reason i used a standard bolt in a stud hole ware the end off the stud had been damadged and the bolt constantilly came slack
