Head gasket

   So here's my problem, removed rocker cover today as there was a slight oil leak coming from the seal, broughs some gasket sealant to seal it back up, as I was doing this I noticed underneath the rocker cover itself there was a lot of weird coloured gunky stuff. The oil is clean no signs there, same with radiator. Was it just the facts there was no seal? Should it not return now I've sealed it? Any help would be much appriciated :-)

   could just be imusified oil because moisture has been getting in i get it all the time in 1l corsas thr giving it an engine flush go from there

   If it was the head gasket youd know, and there would be oil in coolant or vice versa.

   Thanks :-) ill try an engine flush and I'll just keep an eye on it :-)
