Yeah I was going to say, need to know where this scrappy is. £120 is more likely the whole damn car round here and thats if you are lucky

Ha ha ha ha Fuck off no way. £100 to scrap a full car on average in the uk and you got £120 for just the box and engine?

I managed to get £150 for my derv 106 scrap - complete car collected. Managed to get it at a high scrap price luckly. It does change week to week eh!

But yeah, naff all for just the engine and box - try egay.

Someone on here might buy the gearbox, if they fancy a bit of a higher final drive for spirited driving. £30 max for that I reckon if in good nick but engine is worth nothing really. You'd be better off selling the things like the rocker cover and ancillaries on ebay but you wont get much for a full 1.1 considering a VTR unit is between £50-100 for a full engine and box, and not much more for a 16v

You'll be lucky to get £50 for an engine mate.
Probably, about £40 for the gearbox.

Gearbox will sell on saxP within days.
Engines don't sell that well to be honest though mate.

Seems a lot for just a 1.1 engine.
