got a guy to do a quick welding job for me (the common under the fusebox patch) and told me to run some brushable seam sealer along the edges. No idea about anything welding related! Do you prime then seal or what? Also is seam sealer all the same or do you get what you pay for?

#2wrong section mate but.
Rub down with a red scotch or a nylon pad. Etch prime then mask up the lines where you want to seal. Then use a polyurethane sealer down the seam and brush it into the lines you masked up. If you don't use etch primer it will rust and won't stick. And masking it up keeps it looking neat and clean. -

#4so a primer like zinc 182 is no good? Only reason i am asking is i have a tin knocking about!
