Judders at low revs.

Hey all, I've been having problems with my car. This problem has been going on and off for the past 6 months, sometimes it stalls when it's on idle and keep dropping under 1k rev, it's not the ICV as i've had a new one put in. Also when i'm driving and I stop on the throttle, there is no power between 2-4k rev and the car feels like it's going to stall and judders. The exhaust is also like popping. I've found a temporary fix to this over the past 6 months was to unplug the ECU for 1 min then plug it back in. It's gone worse over these few days! PLease help

Sounds to me like it could be Lambda sensor

MAP sensor would cause the 2-4k hesitant acceleration..

Also when your idle goes funny try this to reset the ICV -

    Turn key 2-3 7 times then start.. so 2-3 2-3 2-3 2-3 2-3 2-3 2-3 start.. trust me it works.

But I thought when I turn it three times the car would start?

    THanks!

When you turn the key the stepper motor on the icv will cycle, so pause for a few seconds, if you listen you might be able to hear it. Just turn the key to the position before start.

On my old car I had to pause a few seconds while the icv cycled, then start the car else it would hunt for the tickover level.
